AGE: 97 • Jackson

Auguste Hamburger, 97, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Auguste was born in Emden, Germany, immigrated to Israel in 1934, came to the United States in 1954, and lived in Jackson since 1962. She was a loving, inspirational woman that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Auguste Windmuller; her beloved husband, Felix; her daughter, Edna; and her grandson, Ralph. She is survived by her daughters, Miriam Mason and Debra Beins, both of Jackson, and Hanna Hamburger of Chicago, IL.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at Mount Sinai Cemetery, Lakewood. Memorial contributions in Auguste's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice . Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood.
