Shoemaker Jakob Katz and his late wife Rosa Neuhaus Katz. Mama’s parents were
the merchant Bernhard Hamburger and his wife Sara Kaufmann Hamburger, who
lived in Alzenau, Unterfranken, which is Lower Franconia
